Does the BioPerine in other BioTrust products enhance the absorption of Curcumin (CurcuWIN) in Ageless Body?Updated 2 years ago

There is not enough research to make this conclusion. Indeed, there is research that shows that piperine (the active component of BioPerine) can significantly increase absorption of curcumin when co-administered. With that being said, this research combines piperine with standard curcumin powder, which has poor solubility, low absorption, rapid metabolism, and rapid elimination when taken on its own. In fact, when compared head-to-head, CurcuWIN (which is curcumin with a combination hydrophilic carrier, cellulosic derivatives, and natural antioxidants) showed a 45.9-fold higher absorption over standard curcumin powder. 

Because CurcuWIN is curcumin that has been enhanced with a combination of excipients to make it more bioavailable than standard curcumin powder, we can’t necessarily translate the existing data on a combination of standard curcumin powder plus piperine. That being said, we may be able to speculate that there is some synergy. On top of that, it is very important to point out the dramatic improvement in absorption with CurcuWIN compared to standard curcumin powder.
