What does BioTRUST mean when it refers to ingredients being cruelty-free?Updated 7 months ago

While there is no legal definition for "cruelty-free," it is most often used in reference to products (typically skincare and cosmetic products) that have not been tested on animals, and our products have most certainly not been tested on animals.

We reference "cruelty-free" when talking about the source of milk proteins (in supplements like BioTRUST Low Carb), which come from the milk of healthy, happy, humanely- and pasture-raised dairy cows. With regard to any other products where we reference "cruelty-free," this terminology means that any animal-derived ingredients come from non-GMO, healthy, humanely- and sustainably-raised whole-food sources.
