What does GMP mean? Are BioTRUST products GMP certified?Updated 5 months ago

FDA law requires that dietary supplements are manufactured according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). GMPs are a set of guidelines set forth by the FDA that provide assurance of safe, sanitary, well-controlled, and well-documented manufacturing and monitoring processes which indicates that a supplement manufacturer is quality-conscious, and that the supplement will be manufactured with consistent quality from batch to batch.

GMPs provide a system of processes, procedures, and documentation to assure that dietary supplements have the identity, strength, composition, quality, and purity that appear on the labels. We have sought out and work with only the highest-tier manufacturers, which strictly follow GMP requirements for dietary supplement and food manufacturing. This is a commitment to quality we believe our customers deserve.

Note that products are not "GMP certified." Rather, manufacturers and distributors are responsible for complying with GMPs and ensuring that the dietary supplement product they introduce into the market is safe. We ensure GMP quality with all BioTrust products, and independent laboratory testing ensures purity, potency, freshness, and safety.
