The lining of the bag is polyester film that is laminated to a thick sealant film (which is the layer in contact with the powder) that is made of polyethylene. This provides the most barrier to oxygen and moisture while also providing strength and body to the pouch. The bag is made only with food-safe material, which is the same composition used to pack everyday foods like bread, tortillas, etc.

Our bags are 56 gauge soft touch to 48 gauge metalized to 4.5 mil LDPE.
