Is BellyTrim XP approved for use on a Paleo diet?Updated 2 years ago

Yes, it is. Safflower oil is derived from a seed/nut so there should be no problem taking this product if you are following a Paleo diet. Typical safflower oils found in grocery stores, processed foods, etc., are rife in the polyunsaturate omega-6 fatty acid linoleic acid. Generally speaking, it is recommended to avoid vegetable oils like this in an effort to reduce "toxic inflammation overload" and help balance omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids.

With that being said, there is a significant difference between linoleic acid and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). The CLA in BellyTrim XP is derived from safflower oil using a proprietary process, and the safflower oil is standardized for 80% CLA, which is the "active" ingredient that research has proven to decrease body fat (via increased fat burning and decreased fat storage).
