Is there any concern with taking too much Methylcobalamin (vitamin B12)?Updated 3 days ago

No, vitamin B12 is considered extremely safe, even at high doses from both food and supplements.

Unlike some other nutrients, vitamin B12 has no known toxic level in healthy individuals. Because of this, the U.S. Food and Nutrition Board has never set a Tolerable Upper Intake Level for vitamin B12.(a Tolerable Upper Intake Level - or UL - is the maximum daily amount recommended before the risk of side becomes a concern)

Vitamin B12 has a long history of safe, long-term use, and no adverse effects have been linked to high intakes in people without underlying health conditions. In short, for otherwise healthy individuals, high levels of B12 are not a cause for concern.
