What are the isomers in BellyTrim XP?Updated 3 years ago

The isomers in BellyTrim XP, which are part of the CLA (derived from safflower oil), are cis-9, trans-11 and trans-10, cis-12. Conjugated linoleic acid is structurally considered a form of trans fat. We know that the word trans fat is a bit of a bad word, nutritionally speaking, and for good reason. Elaidic acid is the most common trans fat formed during hydrogenation of vegetable oils, and is notated as “18:1, trans-9.” There is no elaidic acid in BellyTrim XP

CLA is a naturally-occurring trans fatty acid that is very complex and markedly different from trans fats created via partial hydrogenation of vegetable oils. There are actually 28 different forms of CLA, but two of the most important ones, both present in BellyTrim XP,  are “18:2, cis-9, trans-11” and “18:2, trans-10, cis-12.”
