An ingredient in Brain Bright, GinkgoClean™ is a USP grade (i.e., the highest grade of quality for herbal extracts) extract of Ginkgo biloba, which has been shown to improve blood flow to the brain. Ginkgo biloba has been shown in numerous human studies to possess both immediate and prolonged neuro-enhancement effects, including improvements in memory, recall, focus, and attention. With its free radical quenching properties, Ginkgo biloba has also been shown to help “shield” the brain from the effects of free radicals, one of the key contributing factors to brain aging. 

Cheaper, lower quality extracts of Ginkgo biloba contain less, inexact amounts of the active ingredients (e.g., glycosides, lactones) and may contain dangerously high levels of a toxin called Ginkgolic acid—in amounts well above the standards set by the World Health Organization. GingkoClean™, however, is USP grade, which means that it’s exceptionally effective and extremely safe.
