What is the gum arabic ingredient in Low Carb Multi-Protein?Updated a day ago
Gum arabic, also known as acacia gum, is a naturally-occurring fiber derived from the hardened sap of the acacia tree (i.e., Senegalia senegal). There is approximately 0.2 grams of gum arabic per serving of Low Carb Multi-Protein.
Gum arabic is a soluble fiber that also acts as a prebioitic, which means that it can help stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract. Gum arabic is non-GMO and does not contain any FODMAPs, and because it is a soluble fiber, gum arabic does not cause digestive discomfort.
